About Ferrimaroc Ferries
Ferrimaroc Ferries were the first ferry company offering sailings between Spain and the North East of of Morocco all year round. Ferrimaroc is now part of Acciona Trasmediterranea.
Now a subsidiary of Acciona Trasmediterranea, Ferrimaroc pioneered the Ferry connection between Almeria and Nador in 1994 and has been offering a regular scheduled service ever since as the first choice for many for Ferries to Morocco. |

As of March 2010, with parent company Trasmediterranea, Ferrimaroc are offering a service connecting Barcelona with Tangier with their ship ‘Albayzin’. Ferrimaroc's first ferry on the route, Scirocco has both self-service and a la carte restaurants, a cafeteria, a disco bar and VIP lounge, airline seats and shops.
About Ferrimaroc
FERRIMAROC operates a First Class ferry service. It unites Spain with the north eastern region of Morocco, on an all year round basis. During the summer season Ferrimaroc offer up to twenty sailings per week in each direction, between ALMERIA and NADOR.
FERRIMAROC started this route in 1994 and has been offering a regular scheduled service ever since. The SCIROCCO was the first ferry to be operated on the route, and was joined by the much larger MISTAL in 1997.
Since those early days, every day more and more passengers use FERRIMAROC to travel to Morocco.
This route has expanded as customers discover the advantages over the more traditional routes in the Straight of Gibraltar; more than 680,000 passengers and 160,000 cars travelled between ALMERIA and NADOR during 2001.
This has led to improved communication links between the Iberian Peninsula and the North-east Morocco area, as well as promoting the ports of Almería and Nador.

FERRIMAROC is able to provide on-board Moroccan passport and Customs control to “fast-track” formalities in Nador, and ensure more time to enjoy the scenery.
COACHES are welcomed, and FERRIMAROC are the chosen carrier for many scheduled operators. Drivers are well looked after, with their own personal check-in in the ports, and personal cabins on board to ensure appropriate rest.
The much larger ferry Mistral was launched in June 1997 and facilities include a Halaal self-service restaurant, 3 lounge cafeterias, cinema, mosque, airline seats, games room and shops.
